Job summary

ExamWorks is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) examinations for veterans and service members in a clinic setting. The NP will perform physical health assessments, review records, and produce detailed evaluative reports in line with VHA, VBA, DMA, and client guidelines.

This role requires strong clinical assessment skills, documentation accuracy, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with staff to ensure timely, high-quality examinations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Active and unrestricted RN and NP licenses required.
• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• One or more years of nursing or clinical examination experience preferred.
• C&P examination experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct C&P examinations for veterans and service members.
• Perform PHAs, reservist annual physicals, DOI examinations, and related evaluations.
• Obtain claimant health histories and perform focused examinations.
• Review medical and service records to support evaluations.
• Complete accurate, timely evaluative reports per guidelines.
• Assist with diagnostic testing and clinical tasks as needed.
