Qualifications

• Analytical abilities to review claims, apply laws and regulations, and follow VFW/VA policies.

Responsibilities

• Make presentations and process VA benefits claims as part of VFW outreach programs.
• Serve as case manager for service members' claims under TAP and Pre-Discharge programs.
• Prepare statements for Pre-Discharge claims and, if needed, appeal decisions.
• Advise service members on obtaining medical evidence and relevant regulations.
