Qualifications

• Education Substitution: graduate level education or higher can substitute for experience.
• For GS-07: one year of specialized experience at or above GS-05 or a Bachelor's with SAA.
• For GS-09: one year of specialized experience at or above GS-07 or Master's degree or 2 years graduate education.
• For GS-10: one year of specialized experience at or above GS-09 or two and a half years of graduate education or PhD equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Explain benefit programs and entitlement criteria to claimants.
• Analyze claims material and identify issues.
• Gather relevant evidence and conduct interviews to adjudicate claims.
• Input data to generate awards and notification letters.
