Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA‑accredited law school.
  • Active Arizona Bar license in good standing.
  • Strong research, writing, analytical and client communication skills.
  • Leadership potential, professionalism, sound judgment and high emotional intelligence.
  • Strong organization and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
  • Veterans benefits, VA claims, administrative law or related experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Represent veterans in benefits claims, appeals and related administrative proceedings before the Department of Veterans Affairs and other agencies.
  • Review medical records, service records and benefits files to identify issues and develop case strategy.
  • Research statutes, regulations, administrative guidance and case law affecting veterans benefits matters.
  • Draft claim submissions, appeals, legal arguments, correspondence and other case documents.
  • Counsel clients, clearly explain complex legal issues and keep them informed throughout the process.
  • Manage an active caseload while meeting filing requirements and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on case strategy, reviews and client service.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

Location

This is a full‑time, fully on‑site opportunity in Scottsdale, Arizona. Our team works closely together in person, giving attorneys direct access to colleagues, case support, and collaborative problem‑solving throughout the workday.

Candidates must be actively licensed to practice law in Arizona and in good standing, with a professional record consistent with applicable ethical standards. Strong leadership potential, high emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and the ability to work full‑time on‑site are essential. Prior veterans benefits or administrative law experience is highly valued but not required.
