This position is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), offering full-time work and hands-on experience while gaining Kia Service Technician certification. You'll work alongside experienced technicians, developing skills to diagnose and repair Kia vehicles. Applicants must have an honorable military discharge and prior technical experience. A clean driver's license and a willingness to complete background checks are required. Housing allowance available through GI Bill®.
Qualifications
Must have an Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field is necessary.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are essential.
Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership service environment.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engines and electrical systems.
Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics using Kia procedures.
Complete repair orders and documentation according to dealership policies.
Test drive vehicles to verify repair quality using diagnostic tools.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment following safety procedures.
