Carolina Home Access is seeking a Veteran Services Specialist based in the Charlotte area to build relationships with VA and veteran networks and guide families to home-accessibility solutions. The role emphasizes ethical outreach and compliant paperwork, with local travel across the Charlotte region.
Ideal candidates have extensive VA experience, strong communication, and the ability to navigate veteran-service systems.
Location: This is a field-based role centered in Charlotte, North Carolina, with regular local travel throughout the greater Charlotte area and occasional travel to nearby communities in North Carolina and South Carolina. This is not a fully remote position.
Carolina Home Access helps veterans, seniors, people with disabilities, and families create safer, more accessible homes. Our services include wheelchair ramps, stair lifts, grab bars, handrails, bathroom safety improvements, lighting modifications, and other practical solutions that support independence at home. We are seeking a professional who understands how to navigate the VA system and can help connect veterans with the home modifications and benefits available to them.
The Veteran Services Specialist will help Carolina Home Access establish productive relationships within the Department of Veterans Affairs and related veteran-service networks. The ideal candidate may be a former VA Medical Facility Prosthetic Representative, Prosthetic and Sensory Aids Service professional, VA social worker, benefits professional, purchasing specialist, case manager, discharge planner, or healthcare professional with strong relationships in this area. You do not need to have held the title of Prosthetic Representative. However, you must have experience working with VA programs, veteran-service organizations, healthcare referral networks, or public-sector vendor processes.
Former government employees must comply with all applicable post-employment ethics, conflict-of-interest, procurement-integrity, and representation restrictions. The role does not involve using confidential or nonpublic government information
Carolina Home Access offers an opportunity to use your VA knowledge and professional relationships to create a direct, visible impact in veterans' lives. You will help a growing company navigate a complicated system more efficiently while connecting veterans with solutions that improve safety and independence at home. Our approach is honest, compassionate, and focused on solving the person's actual problem, not pushing a particular product. Your experience can help build a trusted VA service channel from the ground up and expand access to essential home modifications throughout the Charlotte region.
Carolina Home Access encourages applications from qualified candidates of all backgrounds and experiences. Carolina Home Access is a private company and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
