Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in healthcare, marketing, business, social work or related field.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Experience in hospice, healthcare sales, outreach, or business development is preferred.
• Experience with veterans or military background is highly desirable.
• Event planning and program coordination experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with Veterans Service Officers, VFW, American Legion, DAV, VA hospitals, and veteran-focused groups.
• Serve as hospice representative within the veteran community.
• Identify and develop new community partnerships and referral opportunities.
• Participate in veteran events, networking opportunities, and community programs.
• Serve as liaison in the American Pride veteran program and support veteran-focused initiatives.
• Coordinate veteran-focused events such as Veterans Day and Memorial Day observances.
• Collaborate with Volunteer Department and Hospice Foundation on recognition and outreach.
