Qualifications

• 1 year of clinical medical practice preferred.
• Current, unrestricted license in the state of desired employment.
• Current BLS for providers from the American Heart Association.
• Current, unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.

Responsibilities

• Examine the patient/client and determine the best course of action.
• Develop and implement patient management plans.
• Discuss patient outcomes, policies, and procedures with Medical Director.
• Complete all clinical reminders to keep each patient up to date.

Skills

Excellent computer skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Graduate of an accredited program for nurse practitioners (MSN required)

Board-certified in family practice or internal medicine

Certification by an applicable professional organization
