Job summary

Thrive USA Home Care Services is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Maryland, DC, Florida, and Tennessee teams. You will assist clients with daily activities, monitor health, and support independence in a home care setting.

This role offers meaningful work with veterans and military families, adheres to HIPAA privacy, and provides flexible hours between 10 and 40 per week with in-person visits.

Qualifications

• Experience with ADLs, dementia care (Alzheimer's) and hospice care.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with transfers.
• Strong communication skills for client interaction and care plan documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Monitor health status and report changes promptly.
• Support medication administration per care plans while ensuring privacy and safety.
• Prepare nutritious meals matching dietary needs and assist with intake.
• Facilitate safe transfers using proper manual handling and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and assist with transportation to appointments or activities.
