Job summary

Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) seeks a Financial Readiness Specialist to oversee and deliver comprehensive financial education and supportive services for wounded warriors and their families. You will provide an individualized, holistic approach to long-term financial resiliency, coordinating with internal teams and external resources to promote economic well-being.

The role includes managing a FR caseload, documenting interactions, and ensuring program effectiveness through ongoing assessment

Qualifications

• Four years of experience in financial counseling, financial education, or personal financial management services.
• Two years of experience working with military or veteran populations.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, financial management or related field. Equivalents considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver financial education programs and curriculum to support wounded service members and family members.
• Maintain a Financial Readiness caseload with accurate records and reporting.
• Coordinate with vendors and external partners for seminars, debt management, and credit counseling.
• Provide guidance to empower warriors to create personalized financial plans.
• Record data in the WWP system and reference Salesforce for tracking.
• Refer clients to WWP programs and community resources.
• Attend required trainings and team meetings for program alignment.
