Job summary

Isuzu Veterans Apprenticeship Program (IVAP) offers military veterans with mechanical experience a hands-on path to becoming an Isuzu Service Technician through a U.S. Department of Labor and GI Bill–approved Registered Apprenticeship.

The program provides hands-on dealership experience while meeting apprenticeship and certification requirements. Participants may gain experience through Isuzu dealerships, with support for recruiting, technical screening, and guidance through the apprenticeship

Qualifications

• Experience in wheeled vehicle maintenance or diesel mechanics.
• Hands-on experience with automotive, heavy equipment, or related systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of Isuzu commercial vehicles.
• Work alongside dealership service teams and participate in on-the-job learning.
• Complete program-related apprenticeship requirements.
• Demonstrate safety and adherence to dealership policies.
