Job summary

Isuzu Veterans Apprenticeship Program (IVAP) seeks military veterans with mechanical experience to begin a rewarding career as an Isuzu Service Technician. This U.S.

Department of Labor and GI Bill®-approved program helps qualified Veterans transition into the commercial truck industry with hands-on dealership training. IVAP connects applicants with participating Isuzu dealerships for apprenticeship, screening, and guidance through the certification process, with potential pathways to full-time

Qualifications

• Transitioning Service Member or U.S. Military Veteran status.
• 3–5 years of military or civilian technician work experience.
• Honorable military discharge or Commander’s Statement of Service.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks.
• Ability to complete IVAP technical assessment.
• Willingness to pass dealership background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of Isuzu commercial vehicles.
• Learn on-the-job alongside dealership service teams.
• Complete apprenticeship requirements and certifications.
