Isuzu Veterans Apprenticeship Program (IVAP) seeks Military Veterans with mechanical experience to begin a rewarding career as an Isuzu Service Technician Apprentice. The program, approved by the U.S.
Department of Labor and GI Bill®, provides hands‑on dealership exposure, technical screening, and guidance through apprenticeship and certification requirements, with opportunities for full‑time employment at participating Isuzu dealerships.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of military or civilian technician work experience.
- Hands-on experience with diesel, automotive, heavy equipment, aircraft, generator, fleet maintenance, or related mechanical systems.
- Honorable military discharge or Commander’s Statement of Service.
- Ability to provide work references and pass background screens.
- Clean driving record and ability to complete IVAP assessment.
Responsibilities
- Asuzu Service Technician Apprentice will assist with inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of Isuzu commercial vehicles.
- Work alongside dealership service teams, participate in on‑the‑job learning and apprenticeship requirements.
- Prepare for certification and potential full‑time employment at a participating Isuzu dealership.
