Job summary

Upscale Home Care in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Veteran Community Relations Liaison to connect with veteran organizations, VA clinics, and local groups. You will be the voice of the agency, sharing our care options and benefits to help veterans access services.

You will attend events, build partnerships, and develop outreach strategies to raise our profile among Phoenix veterans while tracking visits and contacts to support growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• Sales, marketing, outreach, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Veteran Community Relations Liaison

As our Veteran Community Relations Liaison, you will be the primary voice of our agency within the military and veteran community. You will build relationships with veteran organizations, VA clinics, and local community groups to share our story and connect veterans with essential home care services.

What You Will Do:

Be our voice: Share our mission and specialized care options with veteran-focused organizations and leaders.

Make friends: Talk to VA outpatient clinics, VFW and American Legion posts, military retirement communities, and local rehab facilities to build strong bonds.

Go to events: Attend veteran resources fairs, military appreciation events, and local networking meetings.

Teach others: Educate veterans, their families, and care providers about available home care options and benefits (like Aid and Attendance).

Find new clients: Bring in new veteran referrals to help our agency grow and serve those who served.

Plan new ideas: Create smart outreach strategies to get our name known among Phoenix veterans.

Keep track: Write down your daily visits, calls, and new partner contacts.

Work together: Meet with our main office team to plan new growth steps and community initiatives.

What You Need:

School: High school diploma or GED required. Associate or bachelor degree is a plus.

Past work: Sales, marketing, outreach, or customer service experience preferred.

People skills: Great at talking, listening, and making connections easily.

Good communication: Clear speaking and writing skills.

Drive: Able to work on your own and reach your goals.

Computer use: Know how to use Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Travel: A reliable car and a valid license to drive to local meetings.

Bonus skills: Past experience working with veteran services, the VA network, or military communities.
