Job summary

Valor Healthcare is seeking a part-time Medical Office Receptionist for the Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Dickinson. The position is per-diem and focuses on patient check-in/out, scheduling, and frontline patient communication within a VA-adjacent clinic environment.

You will collaborate with the core care team to support enrollment and appointment coordination, while maintaining accurate EMR data and high-quality customer service in a compassionate patriots-focused setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education.
• Strong computer skills and EMR experience.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• At least 1 year of clinical or call center experience (preferred).
• Credentialing through VA and BLS/ACLS certifications as required.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Safety sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administrative support related to patient care.
• Input patient information into the EMR system.
• Check patients in and out of the clinic.
• Schedule clinic appointments and answer phones.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and care standards.
• Provide friendly patient interactions in person and over the phone.
• Support outreach and patient enrollment activities.
