Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of work experience assisting the public in determining eligibility and submitting public benefits claims.
• Two years of experience training, mentoring, leading or supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, training, and technical direction to a team of Veterans Claims Representatives and staff.
• Review new veteran legislation and assist staff with implementing changes affecting veterans’ rights.
• Represent the Veterans Service Office at community events and coordinate with partners.
• Lead and manage workflow, ensure claims quality, and monitor staff performance.
