South Central Mental Health Counseling CTR seeks a Principal Veteran Provider-Outpatient Therapist to deliver comprehensive behavioral health services to Veterans, active-duty members, and military families from the Andover clinic. Travel to El Dorado, Augusta, and Wichita is required as part of service delivery.

The role includes supervision of clinical care, collaboration with VA/VSOs, and advancing Veteran-specific initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, MFT, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Current Kansas clinical licensure appropriate to scope of practice.
• Minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical behavioral health experience preferred.
• Experience with trauma, crisis intervention, and serious mental illness preferred.
• Lived experience preferred for Veteran-focused roles.

Responsabilités

• Provide diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and other behavioral health services.
• Serve as PBHP, coordinating behavioral health treatment and monitoring progress toward goals.
• Utilize trauma-informed care and suicide prevention approaches.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per agency, state, federal, and payer requirements.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, case managers, peers, and treatment team for integrated care.
• Coordinate behavioral health services with VA, TRICARE, VSOs, and other military-serving orgs.
• Support Veteran-focused policies, workflows, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Veteran-serving organizations and community partners.
