Kiavets in Grand Rapids, MI, seeks Military Veterans for the Automotive Service Technician role as part of the Kia VTAP. This full-time apprenticeship offers hands-on experience while providing necessary training and tools to grow as highly skilled technicians. Candidates will perform maintenance and repairs on Kia vehicles under experienced professionals and may receive a Monthly Housing Allowance during their training. The program is GI Bill approved, designed specifically for Military Veterans.
Qualifications
Must have an Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.
Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
Complete repair orders and warranty documentation.
Test drive vehicles to verify repair quality.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
