Job summary

Kiavets in Grand Rapids, MI, seeks Military Veterans for the Automotive Service Technician role as part of the Kia VTAP. This full-time apprenticeship offers hands-on experience while providing necessary training and tools to grow as highly skilled technicians. Candidates will perform maintenance and repairs on Kia vehicles under experienced professionals and may receive a Monthly Housing Allowance during their training. Qualifications

• Must have an Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
• Complete repair orders and warranty documentation.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repair quality.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
