Job summary

A leading automotive service provider in Canton, New York is seeking Military Veterans for a full-time Automotive Technician Apprentice position. This role is part of a structured apprenticeship program that provides hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles while working towards Kia Service Technician certification. Eligible Veterans will receive support, tools, and a Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) through the GI Bill® during the one-year program.

Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Prior experience in mechanical or technical field is essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Complete repair orders and warranty documentation according to dealership policies.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors and ensure a positive customer experience.
