Job summary

A veteran-focused technician apprenticeship program is offering skilled military veterans the chance to start their careers as Kia Certified Service Technicians. Participants will diagnose and repair Kia vehicles, complete repair orders, and perform vehicle diagnostics. The program includes a one-year GI Bill approved apprenticeship leading to certification, providing access to required tools and equipment. Candidates must have a clean driving record and be prepared to complete necessary screenings. Full-time positions are available with participating Kia Retailers.

Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge required.
• Valid Drivers License with clean driving record needed.
• Experience in a technical/mechanical field required.
• Must pass drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Complete repair and warranty request orders.
• Test drive vehicles and analyze systems.
• Communicate effectively with shop foreman and service advisor.

Skills

Technical/mechanical experience
