Job summary

Kiavets in Fredericksburg, VA, is seeking Military Veterans for the Automotive Service Technician position, part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program. This program trains Veterans to transition into the automotive industry through hands-on experience while also completing a one-year apprenticeship leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Full-time employment with a participating Kia dealership and GI Bill approved training are included. Eligible Veterans may receive a Monthly Housing Allowance during their apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics using Kia procedures.
• Complete repair orders according to dealership policies.
