A leading automotive service provider in Wood River, Illinois is seeking Military Veterans for an Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship program. This full-time role enables participants to gain hands-on experience while pursuing Kia Service Technician certification in a supportive environment designed specifically for veterans. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles, requiring strong mechanical skills and a valid driver’s license. This opportunity also provides a Monthly Housing Allowance through the GI Bill® during the apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engines and electrical systems.
• Perform vehicle inspections and mechanical repairs using Kia diagnostic procedures.
• Test drive vehicles and verify repair quality.
