Job summary

A Kia dealership in Illinois is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience for an Automotive Service Technician role. This position offers a structured apprenticeship program designed to help Veterans transition into the automotive industry. The program provides full-time employment, hands-on training, and the opportunity to gain Kia Service Technician certification. Candidates must have an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Military and prior mechanical experience. Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in a mechanical or technical field is required.
• Willing to complete a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs.
• Complete repair orders and warranty documentation.
