Job summary

Kiavets in Plattsburgh, NY is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience for full-time positions as Automotive Service Technicians. This role is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program, which offers hands-on experience and leads to Kia Service Technician certification. Qualified candidates will have an Honorable Discharge from military service, a clean driver's license, and preferably prior experience in mechanical fields. Qualifications

• Must have an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Military.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.
• Prior mechanical or technical experience is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Kia vehicles including engines and transmissions.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
• Complete repair orders according to dealership policies.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
