Cowboy Kia in Conroe, TX is offering a unique opportunity for Military Veterans to join their Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) as an Automotive Service Technician. This structured apprenticeship allows participants to gain real dealership experience while earning their Kia Service Technician certification.
The program is designed specifically to assist Veterans in transitioning into the automotive industry, providing training, tools, and support necessary to develop into skilled technicians. Full-time positions are available, and eligible Veterans may receive a Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) during their apprenticeship.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership service environment.
- Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engines and electrical systems.
- Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
- Test drive vehicles to verify repair quality.
