This role is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), offering full-time employment and structured training leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles, performing inspections, and maintaining a safe work environment. All eligible Veterans may receive a Monthly Housing Allowance (MHA) through the GI Bill during the apprenticeship.
Qualifications
Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.
Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
Perform vehicle inspections and mechanical repairs.
Complete repair orders and warranty documentation.
Test drive vehicles and verify repair quality.
Communicate effectively with service advisors.
Skills
