Gunther Kia in Davie, FL is looking for Military Veterans to join the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) as an Automotive Technician Apprentice. This full-time role allows participants to gain valuable hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles while working towards Kia Service Technician certification. The program is GI Bill approved, allowing eligible Veterans to receive a Monthly Housing Allowance during the apprenticeship. Strong troubleshooting skills and a clean driver's record are essential, along with a commitment to a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Must have an honorable discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Prior mechanical or technical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics using Kia procedures.
• Complete repair orders and documentation according to policies.

Skills

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field

Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership service environment

Education

Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service

Valid driver’s license

Tools
