Job summary
A Veterans apprenticeship program offers military Veterans the chance to start a career as a Kia Certified Service Technician. The program provides full-time employment at participating Kia Retailers, access to necessary training, tools, and certification processes. Veterans can earn a GI Bill Monthly Housing Allowance during the apprenticeship. Qualifications include Honorable Discharge and technical/mechanical experience, along with a clean driving record and willingness to pass drug tests.
Qualifications
Honorable Discharge required.
Must have a valid Driver's License.
Experience in a technical/mechanical field is necessary.
Willingness to complete drug screening and background checks.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair Kia vehicles including engine and electrical components.
Complete repair orders according to policies and procedures.
Test drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic tools.
Communicate with the shop foreman for optimal customer experience.
