Job summary
A national automotive apprenticeship program is seeking military Veterans for full-time positions as Kia Certified Service Technicians. Candidates will diagnose and repair Kia vehicles using advanced tools and diagnostic techniques. Qualifications include an Honorable Discharge, a valid Driver's License, and technical experience. This one-year apprenticeship provides access to necessary tools and training, and eligible participants may receive a GI Bill Monthly Housing Allowance during their training.
Qualifications
Honorable Discharge is required for military Veterans.
Must have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
Experience in a technical or mechanical field is necessary.
Willingness to complete and pass drug screening and background checks.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
Complete repair and warranty request orders.
Test drive vehicles and analyze issues using diagnostic strategies.
Communicate with shop foreman and service advisor to enhance customer experience.
