This position is part of the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP), which provides a structured apprenticeship leading to Kia Service Technician certification. Participants will gain hands-on experience while receiving training and support. Qualified candidates will have an Honorable Discharge from the U.S. Military, a valid driver's license, and relevant mechanical experience. This role requires a fast-paced service environment commitment and completion of a background check and drug screening.
Qualifications
Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field.
Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs using Kia diagnostic procedures.
Complete repair orders and warranty documentation according to Kia and dealership policies.
Test drive vehicles and verify repair quality.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment following dealership safety procedures.
