Job summary

Kiavets is seeking Military Veterans with mechanical experience for the role of Automotive Service Technician in Altoona, PA. This position offers a full-time apprenticeship that leads to Kia Service Technician certification under the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP). Participants will work on Kia vehicles, gaining practical skills and knowledge alongside expert technicians, with the potential for GI Bill support. The ideal candidate has a technical background, a clean driving record, and strong diagnostic abilities.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Experience in a mechanical or technical field is required.
• Willingness to complete background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Kia vehicles including engines and electrical systems.
• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and document repairs.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
