Job summary

A leading automotive service provider in Frisco, TX is looking for Military Veterans interested in an Automotive Service Technician role. This full-time apprenticeship through the Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) offers hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing Kia vehicles, along with support and training. Eligible Veterans may receive a GI Bill® Monthly Housing Allowance during the apprenticeship while working towards Kia Service Technician certification.

Qualifications

• Must have an Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Prior experience in a mechanical or technical field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles.
• Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostics.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors.

Skills

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Basic automotive maintenance or repair experience

Familiarity with diagnostic tools and hand tools

Education

Honorable Discharge from U.S. Military Service
