Job summary

Kia Veterans Technician Apprenticeship Program (VTAP) offers a meaningful path for Veterans to become Kia Certified Service Technicians at participating Kia Retailers. This full-time opportunity fosters hands-on development through a structured, GI Bill–approved, one-year apprenticeship leading to Kia Service Technician certification.

Participants gain access to all tools, equipment, vehicles, and training needed to complete the apprenticeship, with a potential GI Bill Monthly Housing Allowance

Qualifications

• Honorable discharge required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in a technical or mechanical field required.
• Must be willing to pass drug screening and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair Kia vehicles including engine and electrical components.
• Complete repair orders and warranty requests per policy.
• Test drive and diagnose using Kia methods and tools.
• Communicate with shop foreman and service advisor to ensure customer satisfaction.
