Qualifications

• Experience coordinating volunteer programs.
• Experience with homeless/veteran populations preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple duties.
• Flexibility to adjust hours including nights/weekends/holidays.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Develops and maintains volunteer opportunities at the site.
• Surveys staff and clients to identify volunteer needs and preferences.
• Coordinates volunteer application, recruitment, and placement.
• Supervises volunteer activities across programs and departments.
• Organizes orientation and training with Human Resources.
• Maintains volunteer descriptions and records; generates reports.
• Cultivates community partnerships to expand volunteer resources.
• Plans site tours and ensures materials reflect U.S.VETS branding.
• Tracks participation and grant-related metrics.
• Supports fundraising events and calendar of activities.
• Coordinates transportation for volunteers and veterans.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
