Job summary

Access Veterinary Care in Minnesota is seeking a licensed veterinary technician (LVT) to join a fast-paced, urgent care team. This full-time or part-time position offers hands-on care, client education, and collaboration with veterinarians to diagnose and treat sick and injured patients.

You’ll perform anesthesia monitoring, dental radiographs, lab work, and assist in surgeries, with opportunities for skill development and greater autonomy.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years working in veterinary medicine

Responsibilities

• Patient care and assisting veterinarians with sick/injured patients
• Administer medications and treatments
• Perform restraint, diagnostics and treatments in collaboration with the DVM
• Triage urgent care patients
• Perform anesthesia monitoring and assist in surgeries
• Dental x-rays and prophylaxis
• Laboratory work and in-house diagnostics
• Client education and wellness guidance
• Take digital x-rays and handle pharmacy tasks
