Job summary
The Arizona Humane Society is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician II for our Sunnyslope Public Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona. This full-time role requires a minimum of 2 years experience and involves assisting in a variety of clinical tasks. Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital required.
- Ability to administer injections (IV, IM, SQ) as directed by the Veterinarian.
- Strong communication skills with clients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians in all aspects of care for owned animals.
- Monitor vital signs of sedated and anesthetized patients.
- Prepare home-care instructions and receipts for services performed.
