Job summary

Marathon Veterinary Hospital is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join Thrive Pet Healthcare in Marathon, FL. You’ll provide end-to-end care for our patients, from outpatient treatments and lab tests to admitting and discharging patients, working closely with doctors to ensure high-quality care.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of clinical veterinary experience, CVT/RVT/LVT credentials preferred, and strong anesthesia skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care) preferred but willing to train.
• CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred
• Superior/advanced technical skills
• Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
• Possesses a positive work attitudeSelf-motivated
• Excellent communication and organization skills
