Job summary

Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education is seeking a Part-Time Veterinary Technician to join the team at Marathon Veterinary Hospital in Florida. The ideal candidate will support veterinarians in providing quality pet care while communicating effectively with clients about their pets’ health.

Veterinary Technician – Marathon Veterinary Hospital

Part‑Time with rotating weekends

Role Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
• Assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
• Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with state Veterinary Practice Act for credentialed technologists.
• Communicate with clients about individualized pet health concerns and offer guidance on medications and additional services.
• Assist in maintaining comprehensive medical records with practice systems.
• Obtain health history from clients and maintain accurate medical charts.
• Use safe restraining techniques, follow protocols, and maintain clean, sterile, organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
• Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
