BluePearl in Golden Valley, MN is seeking a Pack Room Veterinary Assistant to join our fast-paced Surgery Department. You will prepare and assemble surgical packs, assist with sterilization, and support autoclave operations while maintaining infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced, hospital environment experience preferred.
• Willingness to work rotating on-call after training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble surgery packs per hospital standards.
• Clean and package surgical instruments for sterilization.
• Operate autoclaves and monitor sterilization processes.
• Maintain sterilization records and logs.
• Stock and organize pack room supplies and inventory.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify leadership of low-stock items.
• Ensure proper labeling, dating, and storage of packs and supplies.
• Perform routine quality checks on instruments.
• Assist with cleaning and disinfecting equipment and areas.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with technicians and veterinary staff for readiness.
• Keep pack room organized and efficient.
• Ensure sterile instruments are available for procedures.
• Coordinate with clinical teams to minimize delays.
