ACCESS Specialty Animal Hospital in San Fernando Valley is seeking an experienced Doctor's Assistant to join our Internal Medicine team. Competitive pay starting at $21 - $24/hour, dependent upon experience.

Responsibilities include guiding clients through visits, liaising with doctors, and organizing diagnostics. Candidates should have at least two years of veterinary customer service experience, strong English skills, and a professional demeanor. Shift differentials apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum two-year veterinary experience in a customer service role.
• Must read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Friendly and professional demeanor.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with ezyvet is a plus.
• Must be able to work Fridays and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Guide clients through the visit, from history taking to discharge.
• Liaise between doctors, clients, and patients.
• Organize and track patient diagnostics.
• Coordinate hospitalized patient treatment.
• Prepare discharge reports and in-hospital updates.
• Communicate with clients, referring DVMs, and pharmacies as needed.
