Job summary

The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking dedicated and experienced veterinary curriculum instructors to join our faculty as lecturers, full-time. Ideal for veterinarians with a strong clinical background and a passion for teaching and mentorship.

Responsibilities include teaching hands-on lab sessions for years 1–3, developing course content, coordinating courses, and delivering case-based reasoning sessions focused on clinical judgment and Spectrum of Care concepts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of general veterinary practice or mixed/species practice experience.
• Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach hands-on laboratory sessions for years 1–3 DVM students in Clinical Skills and Communications threads.
• Develop and deliver course content and materials; assist with OSCEs and student assessment.
• Coordinate courses and collaborate with specialists, staff, and student employees.
• Deliver case-based instruction for integrated problems and Spectrum of Care certificate courses.
• Support program administration and contribute to curriculum management across pre-clinical and clinical years.
