Gulf Agency Company is seeking a Boarding Agent to manage day-to-day vessel operations from pre-arrival through departure. You will coordinate with port authorities, terminals, and service providers to ensure regulatory compliance and keep customers informed.

The role requires ownership of each job, cost awareness, documentation, system updates, and timely closure. Independent decision-making, safe and efficient port calls, and strong communication across teams are essential.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education or certifications are a plus.
• Experience in maritime, shipping agency, port ops, or logistics preferred.
• Strong operational mindset to manage multiple vessel activities and port coordination.
• Detail-oriented with accurate record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced 24/7 environment with shifting vessel schedules.
• Confident communicator with vessel crews, owners/operators, and port authorities.
• Proactive and solutions-driven; takes ownership of vessel calls.
• Willing to work in a port environment outdoors with PPE.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; comfortable learning internal systems.
• Possess a valid TWIC card.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across time zones and cultures.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple vessel calls and client accounts.
• Problem-solving mindset to handle disruptions and keep parties informed.
• Adaptable to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Customer service orientation and team collaboration across offices.

Responsabilidades

• Attend to vessels and handle operational matters per GAC Quality Management System guidelines.
• Respond to inquiries and manage all operational matters related to principals and prospective principals.
• Coordinate vessel arrivals with port personnel including pilots, tugs, line handlers, terminal operators, and authorities.
