ABEC seeks a Vessel Designer to lead the design, development and release of pressure vessel assemblies for biopharmaceutical manufacturing. You will utilize Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD to create 3D models, drawings and BOMs, ensuring compliance with ASME/BPE standards and project specifications.
The role requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work both independently and in a team, with occasional travel to support customer projects and site activities.

Vessel Designer works under the direction of the Vessel Design Manager. They will utilise independent judgment to perform the day‑to‑day project duties of designing, developing and releasing deliverables (including detail & assembly drawings and related bills‑of‑material) used in the fabrication of equipment for services, pilot, and commercial scale biopharmaceutical manufacturing (primarily pressure vessel assemblies for fluid & gas handling and motorised agitation systems). Primary responsibility involves generating design plans utilising Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD software. This position requires a high level of attention to detail along with the ability to develop a strong understanding of the ASME/BPE Bioprocessing Equipment design standards.
