Job summary

ABEC is seeking a CAD Designer to help design stainless steel process equipment used in bioprocessing. You will create 3D models, fabrication drawings, piping layouts, and BOMs, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams from concept through production.

The role requires an associate degree in CAD/Drafting or equivalent experience, plus proficiency with 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred) and strong drafting skills.

What You’ll Do

• Design custom stainless steel process equipment using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Create 3D models, fabrication drawings, piping layouts, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, and Quality from concept through production.
• Interpret customer specifications and transform them into precision-engineered solutions.
• Support manufacturing, participate in design reviews, and drive continuous improvement.
