• Master's degree in vertebrate pest management, applied vertebrate ecology, or closely related field.
• Ability to address human-wildlife conflicts in oral and written form, plus public policy implications.
• Experience in vertebrate pest management and field-based applied research.
• Capacity to lead an integrated research and extension program; collaboration with growers, agencies, and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel; valid California driver's license; QAC/QAL certification if required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop IPM strategies for vertebrate pests in agricultural crops and post-harvest facilities.
• Direct service to Fresno, Kern, Kings, and Tulare counties; extend outreach to additional San Joaquin Valley counties.
• Collaborate with growers, Pest Control Advisors, and public agencies to implement IPM practices.
• Conduct extension activities, train-the-trainer programs, and workshops; share results with stakeholders.
• Publish findings in UC ANR series, pest management guidelines, and peer-reviewed journals.
