Qualifications

• Master's degree in vertebrate management, pest management, applied vertebrate ecology, or closely related field.
• Qualified Pesticide Applicator Certificate (QAC) or License (QAL) prior to applying or supervising the application of any pesticide.
• Ability to travel and work on-site in California counties.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evaluate IPM programs for vertebrate pests in agricultural crops.
• Coordinate with public agencies, pest management professionals, the UC IPM Program, and extension staff.
• Deliver extension activities through workshops, talks, field demonstrations, and on-site visits.
