Job summary

Yeshiva University seeks a licensed Multi-Trade Mechanic to perform general construction and maintenance projects across NYC metro locations. The role requires ability to work at multiple sites and accommodate varying shifts.

Responsibilities include carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, masonry, and general maintenance tasks. Qualified applicants will have a High School Diploma with 5 years of relevant experience and at least one trade license; valid driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must possess at least one trade license (electrical, plumbing, or equivalent).

• Ability to read blueprints and work from schematics.
• Strong safety awareness and use of hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain wooden structures and furniture.
• Install wallboard, tiles, linoleum, and carpeting with hand/power tools.
• Install doors and hardware; repair window frames and glass.
• Fabricate shelves, countertops, cabinets, and ceilings.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, painting, and masonry tasks as needed.
• Maintain scaffolding and organized work areas.
