Job summary

Project Hospitality in New York is seeking a versatile maintenance worker to oversee apartment upkeep and repairs. The role requires a 9:00 am–5:00 pm schedule with flexibility for some evenings.

You will monitor mechanical systems, perform cleaning, painting, drywall, lock changes, and minor improvements across residences. The job requires a valid driver's license, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent maintenance experience.
• A clean and valid driver's license is required.
• Basic HVAC, plumbing, and electrical system experience expected.
• Ability to diagnose problems and troubleshoot resolutions.
• Ability to establish workload priorities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily and long-term maintenance care of apartments in the program.
• Monitor operation of mechanical systems in the apartments.
• General cleaning, painting and drywall repair; ability to change locks and doors.
• Provide minor repairs and improvements to residences when needed.
• Maintain stock of maintenance supplies for residence upkeep.
• Deliver and move furniture in/out of apartments as directed.
• Clean and disinfect apartments prior to occupancy.
• Snow/ice removal on the property.
