University of Maryland Medical System Corporation is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver patient care using the nursing process and to educate patients and families. The role serves neonates through the adult-geriatric population in a controlled, safe setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Maryland RN license, BLS and medication certification, and ACLS/NRP where applicable, with at least one year RN experience. OR roles require additional OR scrub experience and certification.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Currently licensed as an RN in Maryland.
• BLS and medication certification required.
• ACLS certification required (PACU/ICCU/ED).
• NRP certification required or eligible within six months.
• Minimum of one year RN experience.
• Operating room candidates: 6 months OR experience and 1 year as scrub tech.
• Telemetry RN must pass arrhythmia exam and recognize critical rhythms.
• Certification in specialty areas preferred if in other units.

Responsabilidades

• Use the nursing process to provide patient care and patient/family teaching.
• Organize and implement safe, therapeutic, and efficient patient care in controlled settings with predictable outcomes.
• Care for patients from neonate to adult-geriatric.
