Qualifications

• Current and active RN license in Maryland or eligibility via NLC
• AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to OB patients and newborns
• Float between multiple UMMS hospital environments (Baltimore area)
• Adapt quickly to different unit workflows, teams and patient populations
• Perform assessments, administer medications, implement nursing interventions, and evaluate outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, providers and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain licensure, certifications, education and clinical competencies
• Support staffing needs while maintaining flexibility and professionalism
• Participate in quality, safety and professional development activities
• Perform other related duties as assigned
